PLN's role and the smart-home ecosystem
Rudi Hamiri, manager of PLN UP3 Padang, said residents now need both electricity and digital services, and PLN Icon Plus can support connectivity for smart homes. Forum data show that from 2024 to October 2026 about 166 housing estates with around 4,152 customers had been connected. Corporate secretary Win Bernadino described the partnership as synergy between state-owned companies.
