This list of ceramic and granite tile factories in Indonesia shows who makes each popular brand, which city the tiles come from, and the factory address. In short, most national tile plants sit in two corridors: Bekasi–Karawang–Bogor–Tangerang in West Java/Banten, and Surabaya–Gresik–Mojokerto in East Java. We checked every entry in October 2026 against company websites, annual reports, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) disclosures and the member list of ASAKI, the Indonesian ceramic industry association.

Arwana Citramulia (IDX: ARNA) runs five plant complexes with about 69 million m² of installed capacity a year; Plants 5B and 5C in Mojokerto make porcelain (the UNO brand).
Roman is made by PT Satyaraya Keramindoindah (opened 1989 in the Lyman Group estate, Balaraja) and PT Roman Ceramic International (Ngoro, Mojokerto, since 2007), about 260 million sq ft a year combined.
Asia Tile is often assumed to be a Mulia brand, but ASAKI lists it under PT Platinum Ceramics Industry of Surabaya, which has plants in Surabaya and Gresik.
KIA is now part of SCG; since 2019 its wall-tile output is concentrated in Karawang. Garuda Tile is made by PT Jui Shin Indonesia, which also makes Semen Garuda; we could not verify its tile plant address, so it is left blank.
How to use this tile factory list when buying
Factories rarely sell retail; they sell through distributors and building-material stores. Factory location still matters for freight and lead time: for Greater Jakarta projects, brands made in Bekasi, Karawang, Bogor or Tangerang usually arrive faster. Always check the SNI mark, shade and calibre codes and the grade on the box.
