Megabuild Indonesia 2027 at NICE PIK 2, 10–13 June: A Guide for Chinese Suppliers

Megabuild Indonesia 2027, the 24th edition of the building materials, architecture, construction and interior design show, will run on 10–13 June 2027 at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK 2, Tangerang Regency, alongside the 12th Keramika Indonesia. The dates are already published on the official site of organiser PT Panorama Media. For Chinese suppliers it is a gateway to Indonesian distributors and contractors, but the local ceramics market is protected by anti-dumping duties and tighter SNI rules.

Who attends: 2026 edition data

By industry, distributors and wholesalers made up 12%, agents, dealers and retailers 10%, and importers and OEM brands 2%. In other words, the show is better suited to building distributor and project networks than to retail selling.
Indonesia's ceramics market heading into 2027
Market context matters for Chinese exporters. The Ministry of Industry says ceramics from China already face anti-dumping duties and imports are tightened through SNI, although selective relaxation is open for ceramic types not yet made locally. The ceramics association ASAKI reports installed capacity of 686 million m² in 2026, a second expansion phase of 110 million m² worth about Rp12 trillion in 2026–2028, and Indonesia is now the world's fifth-largest ceramic producer after China, India, Brazil and Vietnam. At the same time, the average gas price paid by ceramic makers reached US$11 per MMBTU in October 2026 and utilisation fell to around 60%.
For Chinese suppliers, the more realistic openings lie in raw materials, glazes, machinery and spare parts for ceramic plants, plus building materials beyond tiles such as aluminium, glass, sanitary fittings, pipes and construction chemicals.
Preparation for exhibitors from China
- Make sure products under mandatory SNI hold an SPPT SNI certificate before they are marketed in Indonesia.
- Prepare catalogues and price lists in Indonesian or English, plus a local distributor scheme.
- Register for Business Matching so meetings are booked before the doors open.
