Arwana (ARNA) Profit Up 22.8% to IDR 375.9 Billion on IDR 2.51 Trillion Tile Sales

Arwana profit (PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk, ticker ARNA) rose 22.82% to IDR 375.88 billion in January–September 2026, while net sales grew 15.57% to IDR 2.51 trillion. The tile maker’s margins also improved because cost of sales grew more slowly than sales. For the market, the figures show that demand for local mid-range ceramic tiles is still growing in 2026.

Arwana results to Q3 2026
According to the unaudited consolidated statements to 30 September 2026, also reported by Kontan on 22 October 2026, Arwana booked net sales of IDR 2.51 trillion, about IDR 338.5 billion more than a year earlier. Cost of sales rose 13.35% to IDR 1.72 trillion, slower than sales, so gross profit jumped 20.69% to IDR 796.12 billion.
Operating profit rose 23.40% to IDR 485.30 billion and operating margin improved from about 18.09% to 19.32%. After tax, profit for the period reached IDR 375.88 billion, a net margin of about 14.96%. Earnings per share rose from IDR 42.87 to IDR 53.15.
Items worth watching
Not every line moved the same way. Net foreign-exchange loss grew from IDR 6.84 billion to IDR 16.83 billion, reflecting the weaker rupiah that other building-material makers also feel. Cash and equivalents fell 31.21% to IDR 260.00 billion, partly due to IDR 316.15 billion in dividends, IDR 183.13 billion of fixed-asset spending and IDR 35.96 billion of treasury share buybacks.
Inventory rose 35.41% to IDR 160.49 billion and third-party trade receivables rose 84.29% to IDR 152.04 billion. That is not necessarily a problem, but it means more working capital is tied up. Total liabilities rose 9.08% to IDR 1.04 trillion, even as short-term bank loans fell sharply to IDR 1.03 billion.
Strong operating cash flow
Operating cash flow rose 38.03% to IDR 618.38 billion, about 1.6 times net profit. Cash received from customers rose to IDR 2.41 trillion. In other words, Arwana's tile sales are not just booked as revenue; most have already turned into cash.
What it says about the local tile market
Arwana's results contrast with some other tile makers that are still loss-making this year, such as Cahayaputra Asa Keramik, whose loss narrowed but has not yet turned to profit. The gap suggests that competition in floor and wall tiles is increasingly decided by production cost efficiency, especially energy, and by distribution networks.
For buyers, sales growth at large producers usually means popular sizes stay in stock. Still, the weaker rupiah and energy costs can affect shelf prices.
Tips for buying tiles for a project
- Order from one production batch: note the shade and calibre codes on the box so the colour stays uniform.
- Add a 5–10% reserve for cuts and future repairs.
- Check grade and specifications: water absorption, wear resistance and slip rating for each room.
- Ask for written quotes with a validity date, since producers can adjust prices.
