Keramika Indonesia 2027 at NICE PIK 2: Openings for Chinese Machinery and Raw Materials

2027印尼陶瓷展Keramika:中国陶机与原料企业的机会

The Indonesia ceramics exhibition 2027, the 12th Keramika Indonesia, runs 10–13 June 2027 at NICE, PIK 2, alongside Megabuild Indonesia. For Chinese companies, the biggest opening is probably not selling finished tiles, which face an anti-dumping duty until 2029, but supplying machinery, glazes, raw materials and technology for local factory expansion.

Key Facts

Indonesia ceramics exhibition 2027: dates and format

According to the organizer's official site, Keramika Indonesia 2027 takes place Thursday to Sunday, 10–13 June 2027, at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK 2, Tangerang Regency. It shares dates and venue with the 24th Megabuild Indonesia, MegaProperty and a first-edition furniture show, so one trip covers tiles, building materials, property and furniture.

The programme includes the exhibition, an ASEAN Ceramic Summit at the opening, the Keramika Conference on the first two days, an ASEAN Ceramic Conference on 2028 colour trends and exports, and business matching between Indonesian makers and ASEAN importers, distributors and project owners. JPNN reported on 6 October 2026 that the organizer is working with partners from Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and other countries to bring in buyers.

Why finished Chinese tiles struggle to compete

Since 26 October 2024 Indonesia has applied an anti-dumping duty to ceramic tile imports from the People's Republic of China under Finance Minister Regulation PMK 70/2024, valid until 25 October 2029. ASAKI also lists safeguards and mandatory SNI certification among the policies behind the domestic recovery. Exporters of finished tiles therefore face extra cost and must hold SNI certification before goods can be sold.

The more realistic opening: the factory supply chain

In an ANTARA report of 14 January 2026, ASAKI projected national installed tile capacity of 672 million m² a year in 2026, 701 million m² in 2027 and 720 million m² in 2029. The association is preparing Rp5 trillion of new investment and an expansion of 70 million m² a year. Factories adding lines need kilns, presses, digital printers, glazes, inks and spare parts. The Keramika site says the show features raw material, machinery and technology suppliers alongside tile makers.

Some industry problems also invite solutions: ASAKI cites limited gas supply and clay shortages after mining permits in West Java were revoked. Energy-saving technology and alternative raw material sources are relevant topics to raise with manufacturers.

Notes for Chinese exhibitors

  • Know the rules: check anti-dumping, safeguard and SNI status for your product before quoting.
  • Prepare Indonesian-language material: technical specs, after-sales service and local spare parts stock build trust.
  • Use business matching: register early to meet factories and distributors.
  • Keep origin clean: ASAKI says it will look into suspected transshipment of Chinese products via Malaysia, so country of origin must be clear.

What it means for building-material buyers

For contractors and homeowners, local capacity growth means a wider choice of domestically made tiles. homeX, Indonesia's one-stop building materials and furniture platform with a showroom, warehousing and delivery, follows shows like this to keep its tile catalogue and supplier list current.
