Guide: Exporting Chinese Building Materials to Indonesia 2026
A short guide for exporters of building materials from China to Indonesia, based on official regulations as of 22 October 2026. The biggest barrier is ceramic tiles: anti-dumping duty (BMAD) of Rp13,446–90,384/m² for 31 named Chinese producers and Rp94,544/m² for other producers (PMK 70/2024, in force 26 October 2024–25 October 2029), plus a safeguard duty of 12.72% (year 1) and 12.44% (year 2) on ceramic tile imports from all non-exempt countries, including China (PMK 14/2025, 27 February 2025–26 February 2027). Other products must meet SNI; as of September 2026 the Industry Ministry supervises 45 mandatory SNIs and is widening enforcement, including safety glass.

Products with better openings
